Het wordt weer koud in Europa en de werkloosheid stijgt, redenen te over voor Europese "activisten" om weer richting het beloofde land te varen:

The Navy is preparing to intercept the latest Gaza-bound ship carrying European pro-Palestinian activists seeking to break the security naval blockade around the Strip [...] The Estelle, sailing under a Swedish flag, set sail in June and has stopped at numerous European ports trying to drum up support and publicity."(lees hier)

En dit zijn de menslievende onderdrukten die deze Europese activisten zo graag een hart onder de riem willen steken:

"Human Rights Watch says Hamas' security forces in Gaza are committing severe abuses, including torture of detainees, arrests without warrants, forced confessions, unfair trials and mock executions. The leading international rights group released a 43-page report on Wednesday and called on the militant Hamas group to reform its various security forces." Vreemd eigenlijk, een Zweeds schip dat in de naam van de mensenrechten, rechtvaardigheid en andere grote woorden naar Gaza vaart. Alsof ze daar in Zweden, in Malmö bijvoorbeeld, werkelijk niets te doen hebben op dat gebied:

"An explosion struck a Jewish community building in the southern Swedish city of Malmö early Friday morning, Swedish media reported. The blast caused no injuries. “There has been an explosion. Something has detonated – we are certain of that,” police officer Erik Liljenström said to local paper Sydsvenskan [...] Malmö’s Jewish community was previously the target of anti-Semitic attacks [...] “For a number of years now, Malmö has been a hotspot for anti-Jewish activities,” Lauder said.“There is real fear among the Jewish population of Malmö, and it is growing – not least because not a lot has been done to address the issue,” he added." Wonderlijk dat deze schepen steeds weer de territoriale wateren van Israël weten te vinden. Maar misschien zijn de kapiteins geen "activisten".
