Even Bram Moszkowicz Bellen?

Een interessant idee:

"The Shurat HaDin—Israel Law Center, representing 24 Americans living in Israel, filed a civil action lawsuit against the State Department on Tuesday claiming that the U.S. government is funding Palestinian terrorism in the West Bank and Gaza [...] “They are fearful that the money that is going to the Palestinian Authority eventually winds up in the hands of the terrorist organizations that can be facilitated to carry out attacks against them,” [...] “So they find themselves in a very weird situation where their tax money is going actually to attacks against them,” she added. The suit asks the department to either stop sending money or make sure it complies with the law." (lees hier)

Officieel gaat onze ontwikkelingsgeld natuurlijk niet naar Hamas en andere professionele Jodendoders en daar zouden we ook geen rechtszaak van kunnen maken, denk ik. Er is wel een groot probleem met de controlemechanismen die er voor moeten zorgen dat zogenaamde ontwikkelingssjmulp aan de Palestijnen niet in handen komt van professionele Jodendoders en ander gespuis. Maar feitelijk zijn deze mechanismen zo lek als maar kan. Niemand heeft voldoende zicht op wat met onze ontwikkelingsgeld gebeurt:

But instead of using the billions of dollars that were given to them by Americans and Europeans to create new jobs, the PLO leadership stole most of the funds and later blamed Israel for damaging the Palestinian economy. Suicide bombings and financial and administrative corruption are the main reason why the Palestinian economy remains as weak as ever." "At a time when many Western governments, the World Bank and various international organizations are continuing to heap praise on the Palestinian Authority for implementing reforms, the deputy speaker of the Palestinian parliament, Hasan Khreishah, announced that financial and administrative corruption was now more widespread than ever.[...] the Palestinian government is in fact lying when it talks about a financial crisis; its main goal is to get Western and Arab donors to channel more funds to Ramallah: "Corruption in the Palestinian Authority is more widespread than in the past," he said." Normaal gesproken zou de politiek deze informele sponsoring van Jodendoden uit eigen initiatief per direct moeten stoppen. Te meer omdat onze parlementariërs wel degelijk op de hoogte zijn van deze problematiek. Maar met een minister van buitenlandse zaken die zich als pro-Palestijnse activist gedraagt is dat op moment wellicht te veel gevraagd. Dan is het misschien een idee om de juridische weg te bewandelen om toch iets aan deze wantoestand te doen. Wie weet, misschien de moeite waard om na te gaan of een vergelijkbare civiele claim ook in Nederland en/of de EU een kans van slagen zou hebben. Even Bram Moszkowicz bellen? Ik heb begrepen dat hij het nu wel wat minder druk heeft.
